Day 2: Serve With Care
Serving with care is one of the clearest ways to express love in marriage. Love becomes practical when it notices needs and responds without waiting to be begged. Service is not slavery. Service is love in action. It says, “Your wellbeing matters to me.” When husband and wife serve one another with sincerity, the marriage becomes warmer, safer, and stronger.
Careless service can become duty without affection, but loving service carries attention. It is not only doing tasks. It is doing them with the right heart. Helping with responsibilities, offering support during tired seasons, preparing something thoughtful, or removing a burden can speak louder than many words. Love in deed and truth means your actions agree with your confession. You do not only say you care. You prove it through steady, thoughtful behaviour.
Today, serve your spouse with care and without complaint. Look for one need you can meet. Do it willingly. Do not announce it with pride or use it later as a weapon. Let the action speak. A strong marriage grows when both people stop asking, “What am I getting?” and start asking, “How can I strengthen the one I love?”
