Your Most Valuable Resource is Your Time.

The purpose of time is to prevent everything from happening at once. Time is familiar to everyone, yet it's hard to define and understand. Physicists define time as the progression of events from the past to the present into the future. If a system is unchanging, it is timeless. Time can be considered to be the fourth dimension of reality, used to describe events in three-dimensional space. It is not something we can see, touch, or taste, but we can measure its passage. Time moves only in one direction. It's possible to move forward in time, but not backward.

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favour to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. Time helps you to make a good habit of organising and structuring your daily activities. The reality is that things take time. Great things take time. With time all the things that were not possible now will be possible. Your future is created by what you do today, and not tomorrow. Effective time management is ultimately a result of having the right attitude and commitment to your goals. Time management is life management.

Time is the raw material of everything in life. It takes time to turn your disappointments into a miracle. All things are possible in time. You cannot waste tomorrow. You must understand that every moment is precious. It is essential not to waste your time because your time is limited. To become more productive, you need to become a master of your minutes — every second count. You are not able to manage the things in your life because you cannot control your time. The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot. Whatever you do today tend to improve all your tomorrow. It’s not about having time. We all have equal 24 hours in the day. It is about making time. It is about how you spend your time. Do we all have equal 24 hours? Hmm.

The supply of time is truly a daily miracle. You have this 24 hours of regular time to live. We shall never have more time. We have, and we have always had, all the time there is. You can only waste the passing moment. You cannot waste tomorrow; it is kept from you. How life turns out depends on how you invest your precious time. He has more than 24 hours in a day. He is smart to buy other people’s time, so they work for him while he has time to do other things. He can decide to do nothing because there are lots of people doing that thing for him. As a result, he is always ahead of you and can accomplish more than you in life. One of the best ways to start regaining control of your time is to learn the most difficult time-management word. Do you know what it is? The word is “no.” Learn to say “no.”

It's essential to be able to say no so you feel empowered while still maintaining your relationships with others. Saying no helps you establish healthy boundaries and enables others to have clarity about what they can expect from you. But saying yes, every time someone needs your help can drain you of energy and even your happiness. Saying no is an essential tool for your health and well-being.

The most precious commodity you have in your life is time. It is remarkable how you manage your time because it has the most profound effect on how your life will turn out. You have developed an attitude about time, even if you are not conscious that you have. The mindset determines the approach you take towards your allotment of time. The lifestyle you create about time will determine how time will deliver the goods to you. Not everyone can handle the high price of success. Too many are scared to become successful because of the pressure that comes with it. There is a limit you can pay for your success. You don't have to work all through without pleasure or play. You need to learn how to rest and make time for fun.

Drift is the decision you make by not deciding, or by creating a choice that unleashes consequences for which you don’t take responsibility. When you don’t choose to use your time, others will waste your time. You need to protect yourself from people who waste your time. You don’t need them in your life. Your time is your most valuable resource. Be selective with whom you invest your time. Wasted time is worse than wasted money. How much will you earn in a week if you start invoicing people that waste your time? Do the maths. If you love life, don’t waste time. Life is made of time.

Do you know those people in your life that always need you even if it is not relevant? They want a five-minute brief, and you spend hours chatting with them. After they leave you there is the guilt because you know you have wasted valuable time. You must realise that you don’t have unlimited time in life. You cannot duplicate time either. When you lost time, it is gone forever and cannot be replaced. Time will not wait for you. Stop wasting time on the wrong people. If a person wants to be a part of your life, they will make an apparent effort to do so. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay.

No one else will be obliged to respect your time if you don’t. Time will respect you if you respect your time. Those who do not respect your time will not respect your wisdom. Stop wasting time.
