"The Abundance of the Free Favour of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19
Hi Visitor,
Gratitude is one of the strongest cures for anxiety. It shifts your focus from what is missing to what is present, from what is broken to what is still whole. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Thanksgiving is not about denying your struggles. It is about recognising God’s faithfulness even in the middle of them.
When anxiety tries to control your mind, gratitude interrupts its power. Worry feeds on lack, but thanksgiving feeds on abundance. Every time you stop to thank God, you remind your heart of His past victories and His present presence. Gratitude renews your perspective and brings peace to troubled thoughts.
Today, choose to speak words of thanks in every situation. Thank God for breath, for strength, for lessons learned, and for His unfailing love. Gratitude may not change your circumstances immediately, but it will change how you face them.

Think back to a season when giving thanks carried you through hardship. How did gratitude change your attitude and help you endure?
Start a daily gratitude list. Write down three things you are thankful for each morning. Let it train your mind to look for God’s goodness.
Identify one area of worry in your life. Instead of dwelling on what is wrong, list three things related to it that you can still thank God for.
"Gratitude weakens anxiety by reminding the heart of God’s goodness and faithfulness."

Lord, give me a thankful heart in every circumstance. Teach me to see Your goodness in the small things and to let gratitude silence my fears. Fill me with peace as I give You praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
